Esmeralda is someone I will personally owe for a very long time; Feedback I received from the adcom was clear. I was admitted largely due to the context of my narrative and my essays and story; both of which Esmeralda helped me present most effectively. Esmeralda and Accepted are directly responsible for ensuring that I, as a unique candidate, presented the best story and value prop of me as an individual, which helped me gain admission to UCLA!

I was an international student applying for masters' programs in US universities. Philippe provided so much help, not only revising my application materials but also gave me advice on how to approach professors. I got accepted into many programs, but more importantly into my dream program at Georgetown University. He was very helpful and very thorough, always making sure that my voice was being heard and expressed in the best possible manner. The things I learned with him go beyond the application process and I will always carry them with me. I would not hesitate to recommend Phillipe to anyone that is looking for excellence.

Words are short to express my gratitude for the guidance provided by Alicia throughout my application process for medical school. As I applied, we engaged in thought-provoking conversations and created outlines for my essays, which were helpful in organizing my thoughts. With the creation and implementation of detailed plans with set dates and goals, I was able to submit my primary and secondary applications in a timely manner, without feeling overwhelmed. We also held multiple mock interviews after which I received constructive feedback and tips/tricks to help with public speaking, that I will hold onto for the rest of my professional career.

She has not only provided words of encouragement, but has worked with me tirelessly throughout these months to help achieve my goal [accepted to medical school]. She has truly transformed the obstacle of applying to medical school into an opportunity for personal growth. It was an absolute honor working with Alicia and I will be forever grateful.  - Amanda

It was a very competitive year. Each school got about 300 more applications.... Also, you were amazing to work with. We got 4 essays done on a holiday week! Thank you so much for your assistance and patience. I really couldn't have done it without you. Thank you so much.

Hi Linda,

It's great to e-meet you! I had the pleasure of working with Michelle Stockman as my consultant and wanted to share a review about her.

Working with Michelle was a game-changer. She helped me pinpoint what motivates me professionally and then helped me turn that into powerful essays that landed me a full-tuition acceptance at Haas (which I accepted as you can see from my email address :)), a half-tuition acceptance at Yale SOM and an acceptance to UCLA Anderson. What stood out about Michelle is that she was very transparent with her feedback, which I loved, and was always available. Especially during the winter holidays I probably sent her a message on WhatsApp every day and she would always respond in a matter of minutes!

Thank you again for founding Accepted -- it helped me a lot in my MBA journey! I look forward to staying in touch with you and Michelle.

Hi Jamie,

I hope you are doing well. Here's the good news! (In at LBS MFA) Honestly, thanks again for all your help and it's because of you!

I worked with Barry on my application to a Post Bacc program. As a result of his guidance and hard work, I am currently in the program of my choosing and well on my way to applying to becoming a non traditional medical school applicant! As a “career changer”, the prospect of entering the medical field is intimidating and unfamiliar. I have no family or friends that work in medicine. The daunting application process certainly doesn’t help. Barry served as an invaluable resource for me. He was able to demystify what post bacc programs appreciate in their applicants and identify what attributes made me competitive. He is also an excellent writer which was SO HELPFUL. I gave him about 5 pages worth of nonsense stream of consciousness which he somehow managed to magically turn it into a concise (yet compelling) personal statement. I am extremely grateful that I took the leap and made the investment as I know I would not have been in this program if it weren’t for him.

Barry is compassionate, insightful, diligent, and just generally a very pleasant person. You will love him! And the difference he will make to your application, and ultimately your future, is priceless. - Anna

I want to thank you for your help throughout my application process. I have learned that writing personal statements/essays are particularly challenging for me, and I often found myself pushing off the writing to the last minute. The brainstorming sessions with you as well as the advice you provided were invaluable in helping me develop confidence while crafting my story, and I think that you played a key role in me gaining admission to these schools. Prior to the application cycle, I was not optimistic that I would be accepted to even one of my target schools, but as of now I have been accepted to 3/7 and am waiting to hear back from the rest.

I am very happy and was very impressed with your work throughout the process.Thank you so much and I wish you the best for your future!

Hi Rachel,

I'm happy to let you know that I got accepted to Georgetown's MA program! They offered decent merit aid plus an assistantship, and I actually just paid the seat deposit today (which reminded me of your message).

I wanted to thank you for your wonderful help with my whole application, and the personal statement in particular. The writing process that you guided me through was invaluable in teaching me to communicate big ideas through the lens of my own personal story in a way that resonates. More than just a one-off essay, that discovery has continued to pay dividends, giving me the skills to create compelling narratives that build bridges between life experience and academic interests.

Thanks again, Michael

Working with Dr. Rothman was instrumental to my success during my PhD interviews. We began to work together with limited time, just a few days before my interviews were scheduled, and Dr. Rothman was very flexible in working around my tight timeline. I also began the process low on confidence and high on anxiety: The pandemic had cut short my research experience, which anyone applying to PhD programs knows is typically the most important element of your application.

Dr. Rothman is not only highly knowledgeable about the application process in general but is also himself a trained biomedical researcher. He knew exactly what kinds of questions I was likely to be asked, and his scientific background allowed him to probe expertly into my research interests.

During our first meeting, he was able to quickly identify where my preparation was lacking, and which areas my interviewers were likely to focus on. He pushed me to better understand the broader narratives and goals of the projects I was involved in rather than simply my individual role within those projects. He also reminded me to always slow down and breathe!

With Dr. Rothman’s help, I had just enough time to complete my preparation and I entered my interviews calm and confident. I was admitted to my top choice PhD program.

Hi Linda,

Thank you so much, it is very exciting news! Your online videos were very insightful and motivating. Esmeralda was amazing and really helped me shine. I appreciate all the help. We will be in touch.

Thanks.

Working with Rebecca Lippman on my Fulbright application was hands down the best decision I made. Her brainstorming sessions were incredibly helpful. Even when I tried to skimp out on them, Rebecca pushed me to really trust the process and the plan that she had laid out. I am so glad I did. There is no way I could have gotten my application to where it was without her help and her ongoing guidance. During each of my reviews and rewrites, she highlighted the places that needed more expanding on, and emphasized the areas that I was getting too technical. It's incredibly hard to step outside your head sometimes and it's important to have someone who isn't in your field read over your application. Rebecca was not only that someone for me, she was highly skilled and knowledgeable about the application process in general. For my personal statement, she ensured that I wrote the best statement that clearly articulated who I was and why I was applying for a Fulbright! I've written many applications in the past, but the Fulbright is a completely different ball game. It required a different type of language and Rebecca helped me learn that language. In the end, I ended up winning a Fulbright to Stanford. But more than simply winning, I actually believe she made me a better writer. She pushed me to reach my highest potential. I 100% say, without hesitancy, that Rebecca is the best Fulbright coach anyone could ever ask for. She's truly gifted at what she does!!   - Dr. Kinda

Hi Dr. Gordon,

I got into UCI earlier this evening. I committed to enroll. Thanks for all your help, you’re the best!

Where do I even begin? Firstly, this isn’t my first time working with Esme on grad school applications. She also helped me get into Duke Fuqua’s MMS and UT Austin McCombs’s MSM programs last year. During my grad studies at Duke, I realized that I wanted to take on another, more specialized field of study, so I decided to try for a Business Analytics degree. Naturally, I asked Esme to help me with the process again. I chose to apply to three schools this year (I got gold packages for guidance throughout the entire process) but got my acceptance to UCLA’s MSBA before I submitted the last application. Frankly, we were a little less confident this year about applying in general, since there are so many applicants and I already have a master’s degree under my belt. I also don’t have a math/engineering/computer science background, which is what a lot of MSBA programs are looking for. But somehow, almost magically, I got into UCLA on some merit scholarship. All I can say is, Esme is AMAZING at what she does. The UCLA app was tough, consisting of four 500-750 word essays. I started applying a little less than a month before the second deadline, and upon seeing the length of the essays I was pretty put off and thought that it would be better for me to submit by the last deadline to have more time. However, Esme encouraged me to apply asap, saying that she had confidence in me to turn out an outstanding application. She’s so incredibly responsible in the sense that she doesn't stop pushing you until the essays are as good as they can be, not to mention she's extremely patient and understanding, so there's no shame in being a poor writer. Even after three, four, or sometimes even five rounds of editing, she’ll still look for ways to improve upon the writing. She knows what these business schools want in their applicants and will adeptly bring out all your strengths. Her experience with business-related graduate studies makes her the perfect consultant to go to because she also provides valuable advice on which programs and schools would be the best fit for you. I can say with confidence that if it wasn’t for Esme, I definitely would not have gotten into Duke or UCLA (again, both on merit scholarship (even though my undergrad GPA was not hot)!!) I don’t anticipate I’ll be applying to graduate school again anytime soon, but if I did, you know for sure I’ll ask for Esme’s help again, and if I have any friends who are applying, I’ll send them to Esme with no hesitation. Trust me when I say that it’s one of the best investments you’ll ever make toward your education!!

I got my first acceptance at XXX for their CS doctoral program! ...

Lastly, thank you so much Karin! You preserved my confidence by not letting my doubts get in the way. Additionally, you gave me lasting essay writing advice and writing.... I can say that I've used what I learned from our sessions everyday -- heck, I would have benefited from more writing sessions. These lifelong skills helped me write a final SoP that communicated my motivation, love, and strengths. I'm actually quite proud of it..   Thank you a ton!

Hi Jennifer, I am admitted by UCB Haas MFE Master Program!! Thank you so much for your help on my application, giving me so many good suggestions on my essays and resume!!

Rebecca, You helped me reach my goal of attending a top law program and forced me to answer important questions about what I wanted to get out of this opportunity. The process you exposed me to helped me realize what I wanted to accomplish these next few years and shed light on how to prepare for grant/application writing in the future. I can't thank you enough for that. The time and patience you shared with me will not be forgotten. - CM

Esme I got into UCLA! This is so crazy I can’t believe it!! Thank you thank you for all your help!!

Hi Esmeralda,

Thank you so much for all your help since day one!!! I cannot do it without your expertise, patience, and encouragement!

It is truly a memorable process, and that makes this offer even more valuable to me. Now I can say that every effort and second spent was worth it!

I simply cannot thank you enough, Esmeralda!

I'd like to thank Jennifer for her help, dedication and quick turnaround ... applied to Harvard and Wharton and I managed to secure both admits :)

I will be heavily recommending Jennifer to my friends (have already started). -- Indian male applicant

Working with Accepted, in particular with Esmeralda, was the best decision prior to my application to the Yale School of Management. Given her previous experience at the Admissions Committee of Yale SOM, Esmeralda provides a unique feedback all over the admission process. We worked together for more than 2 months in which I was able to see first hand the progress of my application. From the very beginning we scheduled 2-3 revisions per week, which allowed me to get a better sense of what Yale was expecting from me as a Candidate. I would say that Esmeralda was a key part of my successful admission process. I recommend Accepted and Esmeralda 100%, without a doubt.

When I first considered applying to graduate programs, I was worried that my low undergraduate GPA and lack of research experience would prevent me from being admitted into a good program. Dr. Ash was extremely patient and took time to get to know me, my academic history and career goals and helped me to write strong statements of purpose that conveyed my strengths as an applicant. Her input and review of my statements allowed me to be representative of my own experiences and goals, but also to do so in a way that catered to the program that I was applying to. With her help and support, I was accepted into all of the programs that I applied to, including the Quantitative Analytics in Education program at the University of Virginia and the Learning Analytics program at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. It was truly a privilege to work with Dr. Ash, and her guidance was invaluable to my application experience!   - Angela

Hello Barry,

I hope you are doing well! I wanted to let you know .... I was accepted to UCLA, USC, UOP, and OHSU [dental schools]. I have been very torn between deciding on a school, as those were all my top choices....

Thank you for all your help, I truly couldn't have done it without you.

I contacted Accepted looking specifically for essay help. I knew that I was capable of writing an essay, but I would have focused it on my dedication to the program and the work that I have done to get to this point in my life. I would have come across as a one-dimensional person that may have been ready for graduate school but didn’t have much else to offer the program.

Accepted matched me with an Accepted mentor, Dr. Barry Rothman, who was in the same field that I was applying to. Barry was able to ask directed questions to help me discover my own well-roundedness and helped me craft essays that reflected my non-program related interests. Barry’s experience allowed him to reveal information about me that was weaved into my essays without coming across as jarring or bragging.

During the writing process, Barry’s comments and edits were not Barry inserting his own voice into my work but instead they were a guiding hand that allowed me to see where I could improve my own work. These comments and edits were suggestions that I could take or not take, since it was my own work, and I controlled the final outcome. I was accepted into the one PhD program to which I had applied.

Barry and the Accepted team were very responsive and friendly. Barry truly cared about my success and I think that I made a friend along the way.

Hi Philippe,

I was accepted into Oxford's program in Public Policy!

Thank you so much!!

I have been offered admission at Wharton along with a Joseph Wharton Fellowship! Thank you for all your help!

Thanks Linda! Chen has been really helpful throughout the whole process.

Hi Barry,

I got accepted to NYU dental! Still waiting on XXX, but got my first acceptance!

I wanted to take the time to thank you for all of your help, guidance and support. I know I was kind of an “under dog” but together we put together a solid application and made it happen! I cannot thank you enough. I would love to schedule some time to just meet and thank you over zoom if you ever get time.

I’m still in shock. I wasn’t expecting to hear back for a while but I am so excited!

Dear Linda,

During my application process to Wharton's MBA Program for Executives (Philadelphia), Cindy Tokumitsu's level of service, expert advice, and genuine care truly exceeded my expectations....  With her guidance and support I was able to successfully accomplish all of my goals and submit a timely application.

Cindy is extremely knowledgeable and organized. She helped me to prioritize the work that had to be done and keep pace. She was continuously in touch with me, and she was also readily accessible. Her assistance with my essays was invaluable. Her professional writing skills are unmatched, and her edits and structuring taught me a lot. I am a better writer overall having had the opportunity to work with her. I purchased the full package to engage her services, and I am glad I did because it was worth it. I don't expect to hear from Wharton regarding the status of my application for another two weeks, but I know that I gave it my all and working with Cindy was instrumental to that.

I am soooo happy to let you know I was accepted to Georgetown despite it being an extremely competitive year for the Master of Science in Foreign Service. Thank you so much for all your help!

Just wanted to let you know.... ACCEPTED!

Thanks again for your support.

Any tips on where best to look for apartment rentals In Cambridge?

Hi Linda,

Thank you very much for your note. It means a lot. Esmeralda has been key on my applications path, not only allowing me to put my best but more importantly to grow/improve along the process. Thank you!!

I´m really excited about this amazing opportunity at Yale SOM.

Esmeralda was soooo important all over the process, really!

I also want to let you know that Christie St-John was amazing and really helped me with my resume, essays and interview prep. She did an amazing job. She was extremely thorough in her approach, dedicated to making my application better and very pleasant to work with. She's a great ambassador for your company and I couldn't have done it without her

In early 2020, I decided to pivot from my career in the arts towards the tech field. While I knew what I wanted to study, and where--which schools were best for this specific discipline, etc--I did not know how admissions committees thought or operated. Karin was the answer to this question. She helped me articulate my experiences as a member of an under-representated demographic in such a way that would augment my skills, knowledge, and professional experience. I was accepted into one of the top US schools in my field, with a sizable merit scholarship; if Karin's guidance played a substantial role in my acquiring this aid, which I strongly suspect it did, my investment paid off by an approximate factor of 8:1.

Hi Christie,

Hope you are doing well. I wanted to update you with the great news. I was accepted to Darden’s program, and they offered a US$XXK scholarship and ...

Thanks for your support during this process, I don’t think I would have gotten the offer without your insight and support.

Hi Dr. St-John,

Hope all is well with you.

I have very good news!! I received my MIT Sloan acceptance letter yesterday evening and I could not be happier!

I wanted to thank you for all your help in this process, your insight and feedback has been invaluable and I very much appreciate it.

Personal statements are difficult to navigate without the proper guidance and it's easy to make the 'wrong turn'. Given that personal statements are often the last opportunity to advocate for your candidacy for admission, it's important to describe what led you to apply to your program of choice concisely and effectively. With Dr. Rothman's professional guidance, I was able to showcase my background, experiences, and personal journey to medicine while highlighting the personal attributes that make me a strong candidate. Dr. Rothman is extremely effective in framing your 'personal story', giving your applications a personal touch and a greater impact. After collaborating with Dr. Rothman on my personal statement to Post-Baccalaureate programs, I managed to secure admission at every school I applied to!

I am so glad I was able to have Dr. Mahoney as an advisor. She gave wonderful advice, great communication, and an overall great outcome for my medical career!

Thank you!

Dr. Barr was more than an admission consultant. He was a mentor, friend, and confidant throughout the PhD admissions process. Above all, he gave excellent advice on every aspect of the application. He informed me how to develop a statement of purpose that was personalized, relevant, and cogently constructed. He walked me through school selection emphasizing choosing programs that were the best fit for me. We even did a mock interview that more than prepared me for my actual interview. Lastly, he celebrated with me when I accepted my five-year guaranteed funding offer from Vanderbilt University. During an admission cycle that was full of uncertainty, I felt more confident and knowledgeable. All of this, I credit to Dr. Barr. Thanks to Accepted, I happily announced to my family and friends that I was indeed accepted in one of my top choice universities.   Warmly, BR

Hi Dr. Ash,

I hope you're doing well! Just wanted to update you on some admission decisions. I got into UC Davis, the University of Washington, and ...... STANFORD!!! I was really shocked I got into Stanford. ... but I already got into my top 3 schools: Stanford, UIUC, and Cornell :). I really like all three schools and will probably need some help selecting one in the end haha. It's going to be a tough decision.

Thanks,

I had an amazing experience working with Phillipe on my essays. He was very easy to work with and provided excellent feedback / recommendations on my resumes and essays. He was knowledgeable and I was very happy with my final resume and essay. I do not feel like he was trying to upcharge me on any of his work and he was very clear about how much time he spent on each essay.  I would highly recommend using Accepted to anyone who needs help writing essays or polishing up their resume.

I really did not think I would get into Columbia with my stats being slightly below average but I’m happy they saw the qualitative aspects of my application promising. Definitely would have not been accepted if not for your help with my essays. I will definitely recommend your team's services as well to anybody who asks because it helped me way more than anticipated.

Thanks again!!!

Once again, I really cannot thank you for your help enough, it was absolutely crucial in receiving those offers!

Dear Dr. Gordon,

Thank you so much for everything you've done to help me throughout my medical school application cycle! I would like to add to another of your success stories!

I got accepted to UCSD School of Medicine! This wouldn't have been possible without your proofreading/editing, interview practice, and talks to help me feel confident and prepared.
I'm incredibly grateful for your support and guidance throughout this process.

Thank you for everything,

When looking for help with my medical school application, I noticed Alicia has had consistent success with a ~90% acceptance rate, and as I worked with her, I began to see why. She was extremely helpful in developing my ideas and putting them into words. She is a talented writer with in-depth admissions knowledge and she helped bring my writing to the next level. In addition to helping with my application, she was supportive and encouraging throughout this long and stressful application cycle. I am very happy to have worked with Alicia and I am thrilled to enroll in medical school this summer.

I worked with Chen in preparing my application for a masters in finance program in the UK and I was accepted into my top choice graduate school thanks to his full support from start to finish. Chen was extremely helpful in providing comprehensive essay/CV/application review (his turnaround was around very quick), but also in offering useful guidance as part of the earlier school selection and application strategy sessions. His advise was very clear which helped me remain focused and efficient in my preparation and he was always available to correspond in a timely manner to my follow-up or ad-hoc questions. Lastly, and most importantly, it was very reassuring to have Chen on my side and it gave me the necessary confidence in submitting my final application and in approaching my interview. I really could not have done this without Chen’s support and I’m extremely grateful!

I also like that the Accepted.com website is very informative and that is provides free guidance and tips for every step of the application process. You can tell from their website that the resources are plenty and that they have a well-established and truly dedicated team which you can rely on. That was my main reason for initially deciding to work with Accepted.com and I'm glad that I had made that decision.

I received a congratulations email from Northwestern University for their online counseling program, which was my top choice.

Carol truly went above and beyond. She edited all of my essays and answers to questions in remarkably fast turnaround times. She added insights and suggestions that I otherwise would have missed, such as using hooks and key phrases that helped me stand out. We also did a mock interview, during which Carol gave me feedback that proved to be invaluable in my interview with Northwestern.

Carol researched my program, drew on her past experiences as a dean of graduate admissions, and used her experiences with Accepted to deliver a world-class experience.

I felt like I had a secret weapon on my side and the result speaks for itself: I will enroll in Northwestern next week.

I can’t recommend working with Carol enough.

I feel really good about my application because of all the work we did together. Thank you so much for your patience in teaching me this style of writing and editing, and for going above and beyond by even providing additional services and quick communication. I especially appreciate your careful listening to my story in order to help find a thematic thread in my education/work. Whether I’m accepted or not, this process has helped me articulate my professional goals, which is invaluable to me. I can’t thank you enough.   -Alexis

I just wanted to personally reach out and say that I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to connect with Dr. Christie St-John yesterday.

She has a phenomenal personality and she provided great insight into the overall MBA application process and mindset required to be successful from initial application to post matriculation.

I want to ensure you know I give her an 11 out of 10 for the outstanding consultation yesterday!

Esmeralda,

I am happy to announce that I have accepted an offer of admission at Vanderbilt University! I want to thank you for the incredible role you had in my journey. I could not have done this without your help and deep program insights.

Sincerely,

Thank you for your very valuable advice! The Soros interviews just happened and it was quite unexpected in many ways...it was my first time dealing with a panel interview so the dynamic was unexpected. Your "talking points" advice was excellent!  It helped me ground my professional and personal identity...

As most candidates would only submit their reviews for the consultants only if they are admitted to B- school, I want to write this review before I even get a decision from the schools I applied. I was a round 2 applicant for one of the M7 MBA programs earlier this month.

I have to say my profile would have been half as effective if it was not for Esmeralda Cardenal from Accepted.com. Like me, I am sure all of you had your own unique powerful story. But without proper guidance your story would not be presented through the right channels. This is where Esme comes in. She made an huge impact on how I presented my case through the application.

During the application process unexpected things come up, especially during a pandemic ~Personal obligations, work commitments etc. On such unfortunate circumstances Esme went above and beyond to help me, sometimes even on weekends and Holiday weekends.

I strongly recommend her to anyone who does not know where to start with the application process. Or if you need put your best profile forward to B-School.

I worked with Cydney for the 2020-2021 application cycle.

I was a reapplicant for the AMCAS and TMDSAS applications and was ultimately accepted to my top choice medical school, McGovern Medical School, in the Texas pre-match! Cydney’s feedback not only helped to improve my application to be much more competitive, she also helped me to understand and learn more about how to properly and actively write about myself for such applications. During my interview I received multiple comments on my writing, with one interviewer saying she knew she would enjoy speaking to me after reading my application. Cydney’s help in crafting my personal statement and other optional essays (for TMDSAS) by guiding me through ways of piecing together my experiences is what I believe tipped me over the edge to an applicant the admissions committees were excited about. Overall, she is extremely efficient and knowledgeable about the entire process, and I highly recommend anyone applying to medical school to work with her.

Hi Karin,

I'm extremely happy to share that I've been admitted to the Masters in Management Science and Engineering program at Stanford! Thank you so very much for all your help and going above and beyond throughout the entire application process in providing all types of support from editing/reviewing my SOP to listening through the emotionally and mentally taxing hardship I was going through. Words cannot convey how appreciative I am for all your help. I absolutely cannot wait to move to Stanford University to study at the world renown institution I've always dreamed of thanks to your help!

Hi Jennifer, Happy 2021 to you! Hope you’re well. Just wanted to let you know I got an admit from INSEAD - thank you for helping me through what was a very tedious INSEAD application process!!

Really grateful for your help. I learned a lot about myself as well as I prepared for the application, which I am quite sure I wouldn’t have been able to secure an offer without your close support and guidance. A big thank you to you (:

Thanks for all your help with the interview prep.  Your guidance allowed me to go into my meeting with Simon with confidence and articulate my background / skills / aims in a clear, concise way!

Accepted later to Cambridge and LBS

Please allow me to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for helping me along the way.

You have no idea how much your work has helped me to refine my content and I appreciate the comments on those granular details.

Thanks again for helping me develop a deeper understanding about myself and making my essays much better. :)

I was going to be reaching out to catch back up & get started on more applications, but as of yesterday night, it turned out I don't have to! I got into SOAS! I got into the program I wanted so I don't need to apply to any others!

Thank you so much for all your guidance & editing assistance & support. You are wonderful at your job! I truly am grateful for all your insight & for being a fantastic advisor! I'm so excited to share this news with you! I hope you can share in the joy because you were a big part of me being able to make this possible!

Applying for a graduate program/school can be a daunting task. On top of that, I found it challenging to find a consultant who had the right background and experience to help me with applications for bioscience Ph.D. programs, and who could understand and help me with writing in detail about my research experience. Dr. Barry Rothman was a perfect match. Dr. Rothman’s questionnaire approach allowed him to get to know my past with regards to research and academics, as well as my life experiences. This approach also allowed me to think about my past experiences and how they helped shape my future. He then helped me frame the information appropriately for the audience, guiding me to articulate coherent storylines and elevating my whole application, even the technical aspects, making each piece of writing as impactful as possible.

Not only did Dr. Rothman help me during the application writing stage, but his expertise and guidance helped me stand out during my preparation for interviews. He asked me questions I had never been asked before or even thought of regarding my past research, making me think about my research more holistically and critically. When occasionally I froze and drew a blank with one of his questions, he showed compassion, didn’t pressure me, and pointed out exactly what I needed to work on and review. In essence, his interview prep “over-prepared me”, and in turn, I felt relaxed and confident going into the actual interviews. After receiving an admissions offer from a top-ranking PhD program, he gave me honest and reassuring advice that helped solidify my decision.

Dr. Rothman was a great mentor throughout the whole process. He is professional, compassionate, straight-forward, thorough, and just a nice person. He is someone I can reach out to for advice on anything I may encounter during my graduate studies. That’s invaluable.

Hi Dr. Rothman!!

Good news!! The director of Case Western’s MS in Applied Anatomy program called me to say that I’ve been accepted !!

Thank you for the time and effort you put in making my story come through my application. I couldn’t have gotten in without your help!

Christie,

Hope you are well.

Good news, I was accepted into Penn State’s part time program. Thanks for all your help

I’d like to thank you for all your efforts and time spent on helping my case, no doubt I wouldn’t be able to complete my applications with your guidance!

Thank you for your dedication, amazing edits, and rapid turnarounds. It has been such a pleasure working with you.

Esme - wanted to let you know that I submitted my application last night and your assistance made a huge difference over the course of the application process. I truly think my profile was elevated due to your guidance. I am aware that your clients typically send you a review 'only' if they are admitted, but in such a competitive MBA selection process, it undervalues the work you do to help clients. If there is a certain platform you would like me to submit a review, please let me know and I would love to tell future applicants the impact you had on my profile. I truly appreciate you going above and beyond to help me out. (even on weekends!)

For someone who has worked with 2 consultants in the past with no results at all, working with Jennifer has been literally a career changing experience, and I only regret not having approached her earlier.

She has not only always been available in patiently addressing my queries, and playing a very active role not only in school selection but also in helping me choose the right programs within each school that I had the maximum chance of getting in.

As someone with a not so competitive GMAT score, it was Jennifer's editing and her ability to [help me] craft compelling stories that have made all the difference because of which someone like me who has gotten only 1 admit in the past (top 25 program), I have 2 admits (top 15 and top 20) and am waitlisted at (top 5). If I say that Jennifer has the fastest turnaround time I have ever seen in any consultant, I wouldn't be exaggerating. Her turnaround times are mindblowing.

Jennifer has, from day 1, shown immense faith in my ability to make it to great b schools by strongly encouraging me. To me, that has made the most difference in my mindset. I am eternally grateful to Jennifer for all the work, support and how she has taken on my applications as if they were her own. She is truly my guardian angel and has helped me realize my dream of making it to the top b schools. (We are eagerly waiting for a convert to top 5 now!!)

Hi Marie,

I wanted to let you know that I was admitted to Stanford. Thank you so much for all your help the last few months. I really appreciate all of [your] help! Thanks again.

Hi Jennifer,

I got in both HBS and Kellogg! It's midnight already in India and I'm so excited that I don't feel sleepy at all! Haha.

Thank you so much for helping me put together a strong application and get solid interview prep! Thanks a ton!

Hi Christine--

Hope you're doing well. Just wanted to share that as of today I have been accepted (with scholarship offers) to 3 of the 4 schools I applied to....

As you can imagine, I am very pleased with the news so far. I appreciate the help you provided with my resume and personal statement.

Hi Rebecca,

I can finally share with you the good news: I was accepted into the Schwarzman Scholars Program. Thank you again for all your support, I truly appreciated it.

Over 3600 students applied from all over the world and 150 were accepted. I am truly honored and grateful for the opportunity to join a remarkable class of global leaders in Bejing next year in August.

I've just received decision letters from USC and am happy to report that I've been accepted into the CS MS program!  In fact, I got into all three concentrations that I chose! I can't thank you enough for guiding me through the application process; I couldn't have done it without your help.

I wanted to reach out with good news on my acceptance to Chicago Booth! It has been a very difficult year for applications and any success I had was most certainly a result of the straightforward advice and support you gave me. Thank you!

Within two weeks after my first interview, which happened to be at my top choice for attendance (and an MD school no-less), I got a phone call from the Dean of Admissions that I had been accepted! They even told me that I was a very competitive applicant and one of the first people accepted into their class. I was over the moon by this news, and Barry was one of the first people I reached out to regarding this. I felt like we had reached this accomplishment together as a cohesive team working toward a common goal. And we did it!

Whenever anyone asks me about how I got to this point of holding an acceptance at one of the top medical schools in the country, I explain that I couldn’t have done it without Accepted, specifically with Barry. Here I am, an applicant who was initially told by others to give up, now labeled as one of the most competitive applicants they have had this year. I tell everyone to reach out to Accepted whenever they’re ready to start the process. Admissions companies are expensive, but Accepted is far more reasonably priced than others, and the money is well-worth it! You will not be disappointed in your investment; it is the best choice I have made in years.

- Sarah

I really appreciate everything you guys do for applicants!

For me personally, CBS wouldn't have been possible without Jennifer. I will forever be grateful! :D

Hi Cindy,

I am so excited to tell you that Columbia has admitted me. The admission office called me just now. I would not be able to make it without your guidance and help. I truly appreciate it :) I am so excited to tell you that Columbia has admitted me. The admission office called me just now. I would not be able to make it without your guidance and help. I truly appreciate it :)

THANK YOU SO MUCH :) Yay ~~

BARRY!!!

I just wanted to share that I GOT ACCEPTED TO UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON!!!!!!!

I just got the call from the Dean a few minutes ago and wanted to tell you the great news! :) I also wanted to thank you for all that you’ve done to help me, it has definitely worked wonders and I can’t tell you enough how much I appreciate it.

I worked with Dr. Rothman for the 2020-2021 application cycle.

He helped my older sister get into medical school before me so I was familiar with his work and remembered how much his feedback improved my sister’s application. He helped me throughout the application process from my personal statement, to choosing schools, to interview prep. Over the many months we worked together, Dr. Rothman always made sure to check in on my mental health, offering compassion and support that was critical to keep me from getting discouraged. When beginning my application, Dr. Rothman helped me improve with my personal statement and activities. He helped me see a critical flaw in my application that weakened my chances in the incredibly competitive process. He guided me to edit my application so it emphasized all of my strengths even in areas where I had less experience. During crunch time of secondary writing, Dr. Rothman’s comprehensive organizational strategy was incredibly valuable as I completed a large volume of secondaries during a short period. As I began receiving interview invitations, Dr. Rothman helped me prep for various styles of interview from traditional, to MMI to the VITA.

I am very grateful for his thoughtful and honest feedback which helped me portray my best self during interviews. With his help, I was lucky to be accepted to medical school very early on in the cycle, saving me much stress and anxiety.

Yes I’m extremely grateful and excited! I wouldn’t have been able to do it without you guys and especially Dr. Schweikert. She has been an amazing help throughout this process.

I just heard back from Fuqua and have been offered admission with a USD 40,000 scholarship!

Thank you very much for your support and guidance throughout the application process, without which this would not have been possible!

Hi Karin,

I just wanted to update you on my Fuqua process. I am happy to share the good news because I just got a call from Fuqua admissions letting me know that I got in.

I am beyond happy right now and can't wait to start at Fuqua next year!

Thank you so much for being supportive when we talked and worked through this process together. It really made a difference!

I have worked with Cindy Tokumitsu. Cindy was extremely efficient and helpful, not even mentioning how nice and polite she was as a person.

With Cindy’s help in review of my CV and preparation of 5 essays, I was accepted into the full-time MBA programme at HEC Paris. I also got an excellence scholarship to cover part of the tuition fees.

Thank you very much for your and your team’s work and commitment. I really appreciate your attitude and will for sure recommend your assistance to others.

Esmeralda,

Hope you had a great week.

Darden's results came out this week. And I am delighted to say that an admission offer was made to join their Class of 2023!

I wanted to reach out and give you this good news. This accomplishment would not have been possible without your thorough guidance and help with the interview process. Thank you so much for helping me convey my story!

I am delighted to have received admission way early in the admissions cycle. Thanks again!

Hi Esmeralda,

I'm writing with some good news!  I've had two acceptances thus far: Durham and Imperial.

I just want to thank you for your help in this process! Your comments and input at all stages of the application process were invaluable and I attribute my success to your involvement.

Also, I have a friend who is exploring Executive MBA programs and asked if I could connect you. Would you mind if I send over an email connecting you?

I can’t say how thankful I am for your help during my admission process.

Thank you for guiding me through the application process when I was lost, thank you for all the comments you had for every of my essay, thank you for encouraging me to keep following up with the school when I was about to give up, thank you for being there with me when I felt frustrated. I would not make it to my dream school today without you.    Thank you!!

Hey Cindy,

Hope all is well! Just wanted to thank you again for this whole process. In the end, Kellogg sent an admit letter to me - though I've already landed in Berkeley. ... So you're 3 or 3 (it's probably 4 for 4 except I declined USC's interview after Berkeley & Anderson's admit)

Working with Alicia has been nothing short of pleasant. As a reapplicant with competitive stats, I was unsure to why I was not accepted and was beginning to consider off-shore schools. Unsure of where to go, I turned to Accepted to see if I could be helped. I agreed to work with Alicia with my primary and secondary applications. She was professional, punctual, objective, and considerate to my unique circumstances. I ended up receiving many interviews and, with that, multiple offers. I am thankful to have been accepted to my top choice Wayne State School of Medicine! I honestly do not think I could have done it without her guidance. I cannot recommend her more!

Hi Cindy,

I hope you are well. Passing along some good news that I was accepted into Sloan and matriculate this fall.  Thank you for your coaching and guidance in the essay process. You were extremely helpful and a pleasure to work with!  It was also a great learning experience for me... bonus! ;)

Thanks again!

Karin was absolutely amazing and played a huge part (I'm sure) in my acceptance. Hats off to the Accepted team!

Jennifer showed an exceptional ability to collaborate, and ensure the highest quality attributes are put into an application in an organized and logical manner. Throughout the process, she ensured to provide invaluable feedback ensuring I was on the right track. I could not have done this without her. I have been accepted!

I did find out just over a week ago that I was admitted to HBS! Super exciting news- I definitely would not have been as successful without your help! Thank you for the practice and support- it was a pleasure working with you!

Hi Jamie,

I wanted to let you know that I got in! :) I'll be starting in Singapore (pandemic pending) in January. Thank you for the huge part you played in that - you did an amazing job helping me cut through to the core of what I needed to write, and most importantly, kept me focused and believing I could do it when it all nearly got too much close to the deadline. I honestly don't think I would have been able to make the deadline (and certainly not with essays of the same quality) without you.

Thanks again! And have a lovely weekend :)

Ms. Todd,

I wanted to thank you for your assistance as I have recently been accepted to Penn!  Your edits and comments were a great help and I’m not sure that without your outside perspective, my personal statement would have come out the same. It may also interest you to know I am in the process of applying to many tier 1 and 2 investment banks for summer 2021 internships, and may utilize Accepted once again.

Again, thank you for your help and hope you have been enjoying your summer!

I heard back this evening -- I got accepted into Kenan-Flagler!!

I am absolutely overjoyed!  This is such a huge relief for me.   Thank you so much for all your help and guidance, Philippe.  I really appreciate it.

Hi Esmeralda,

Great news just got the phone call from admissions with my acceptance into USC, just wanted to share the news with you and thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your help and guidance through this process.

Cindy was very thorough, thoughtful and helpful in meeting my essay objectives considering the deadlines.  I am glad I reached out to Accepted to make this work for me.

Good Day Linda,

I am writing to express my appreciation for Natalie as well as Accepted as I would never get admitted without Natalie's help. I applied to Duke Fuqua school of business for its MBA program in R4 this year and received my offer on 18th June EST.

I got to know accepted via B-school selectivity index https://www.accepted.com/mba/selectivity-index.  Natalie contacted me for the free consultation session after I left my information to Accepted.

I think that I was really lucky to have that consultation session with Natalie. She demonstrated exactly what a trustworthy and capable consultant would do. Instead of hard-selling, she showed the willingness to understand me as a person. Instead of focusing on the master application, she guided me on how I should approach my long-term career goal and how the MBA could be leveraged to help me achieve that. I had talked to other consultants before, but after chatting with Natalie, I knew that I do not need to explore further and that she is the consultant who I will work with. I bought the 1-school package the next day.

Throughout the application process, Natalie has been extremely resourceful, encouraging, and caring. She has answers to all my questions, including sensitive ones, and guided me on how to approach the MBA application strategically and wisely. Her review and advice on my application package are very precise and profound. She has been motivational. I always get energy from her whenever I doubt myself.

I believe that Natalie contributes a lot to Accepted's branding, and I will never hesitate to recommend my friends to her for their B-school applications.

Stay safe in the Pandemic.

I worked with Esmeralda Cardenal during the admissions process and applied to four schools. I had worked with consulting services before, but have always been kind of disappointed with the results. I was definitely a little doubtful at first but decided to give it a shot because I wasn’t confident in my ability in submitting an application that brought out my best. I realized after going through the process that I absolutely would not have achieved what I did without her assistance and support. She was an integral part of my applications, especially with the multiple essays required by the schools. I needed help crafting a story that highlighted my strengths and depicted why I need a graduate degree, and that’s exactly what Esmeralda did. Sometimes we sent the essays back and forth four or five times, but she was detailed and patient each time in pointing out the things that could be further improved.

I didn’t think I was a very strong candidate because I didn’t have a stellar GPA and have never worked in large companies, but with her help, I got accepted to McCombs’s MSM and Fuqua’s MMS program. Still waiting on one more, but I already know I’m going to Duke because I also received a pretty great scholarship!! I definitely never imagined I would be a scholarship candidate, especially since I applied during the second to last deadline. It’s hard to put into words how amazing she’s been during this process. If I were to pursue further studies or have friends that are looking for consulting services, I would undoubtedly recommend Esmeralda and Accepted to them. Many many thanks to Esmeralda and the Accepted team. Please continue to do what you guys do so that students like myself are one step closer to their dreams and goals!!

Later updated: I received a $30,000 scholarship [to Duke], which would not have been possible without your help! As I said, I wouldn't have been able to accomplish what I did without your guidance. You've helped so many people so you might not be able to feel the impact, but this essentially changes the course of my entire future! So thank you once again, and let's absolutely stay in touch!

Rachel helped me a ton with my essays for both schools. I'm very excited to start grad school in a few months!

I was luckily admitted to Kellogg and am planning on attending Northwestern come the fall (I guess virtually at this point).

Thanks again for all your help! I found the edits and advice that you gave me on my essays were pivotal for my acceptance to Kellogg.

I very much like how the statement has come together! Thank you for all the advice and help.

I had 3 adults look over it and they agree it is great. I only changed one thing in the conclusions but other than that I think it is great.

Thank you.

I am very happy and excited to start my MBA experience this fall.

Undoubtedly, Esmeralda's help was paramount for this achievement.

Once again, thank you Esmeralda and Linda, and everyone from the Accepted team.

Karin was absolutely a joy to work with. She understood my unique story, and was able to help me convey it completely, effectively, and concisely. Karin was very helpful with my multiple iterations of my essays until we were at the perfect version. She did not rush the work, and let the process flow naturally until the result was just right.

I would be happy to referAccepted.com among my circle. I was referred to your organization from my business partner, who also was admitted into top MBA programs.

I hope that this email finds you well and safe amidst COVID-19.  I was concerned with being a re-applicant, having average statistics, and having an IA (due to leaving graduate school due to health issues); however, Cydney was dedicated and a great person to work with.

Every penny was worth it. I successfully completed ten interviews (DO and MD), received two acceptances (DO), and was placed on four waitlists (DO). As of now, I will be attending XXCOM; unless, I get accepted off the waitlist for my top choice. Team Accepted and Cydney played an invaluable role, and I am forever in your debt.

Dr. Philippe Barr sparked life into my essays. He was responsive, thoughtful, and helpful in his feedback and edits.

Furthermore, he helped greatly in succinctly summarizing my background, experiences, achievements, and failures within the required word count. I highly recommend Dr. Barr for anyone looking to polish their essays and turn them from good to great. -- Steve

Dear Ms. Abraham,

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing this email to express my deepest gratitude to you and Dr. Barry Rothman. Over the course of the last five months, I have been working closely with Dr. Rothman on my graduate nursing application for Nurse Practitioner school. Dr. Rothman provided a safe, non-judgmental space for me to vocalize my feelings and experiences. His feedback throughout this process was thoughtful, and often pushed me to be a better writer.

However, his support did not end there, he was an excellent resource during my interview process by providing mock interviews. With the guidance, I received from Dr. Rothman, I was allowed to create a clearly written personal statement full of passion, maturity, and growth. In fact, the head of the program sent an email stating how much she enjoyed reading my personal statement. Initially, I was very hesitant to apply to any program, I possessed a severe lack of confidence due to my not so stellar grades from my first undergraduate degree.

In fact, I was hesitant to apply to Duke University, after some encouragement from Dr. Rothman I applied and was accepted. I am truly grateful for all of your help, and you are nothing short of amazing.  Thanks for believing in me at times more than I believed in myself.

Alicia helped me complete my application for medical school and I am so glad I reached out to her for help. Her editing skills are great and she knows how to make good writing even better. Thank you for your help in achieving my dreams of attending medical school and one day becoming a physician

Best,  Nathaniel

Dear Jennifer, I'm thrilled to let you know that I was just offered admission to Columbia. I wanted to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. I certainly would not have been able to put together such a strong application package (particularly in the time we had) without your guidance and support. Thank you once again :)

Booth was the first school that I applied for and Natalie's coaching was instrumental. I did the hourly package with Natalie and she helped me to build a strong set of personal stories and professional achievements. To be frank, for my MBA application journey, I also had a bit of 'trial' experience with other consultants. Natalie is the strongest and the most helpful I've worked with. Under the stress of the close deadline of Booth, we managed to work out two strong essays, which were essentially the core elements in my H/W application. Thus, Natalie was certainly the cornerstone of my R2 success.

Also, I want to highlight that Natalie is one of the very few consultants that see me beyond stats. As a Chinese male with a below-average GMAT, I got advice from other consultants to apply for schools like North Carolina/ Georgetown. Natalie is one of the very few that believe that I actually have a shot at M7. I almost gave up my hope for H/W, but the essays out of Booth application made me believe that I've got something to offer.

And with that, I am beyond excited to say that I will be attending Stanford's MSCS program this fall!!

I honestly didn't think it was possible and am still in disbelief sometimes that I got into my top choice, but somehow it's real and I couldn't have done it at all without your help. Thank you so, so much for your support and time in helping me apply, especially when you had your hands full with helping so many other people who were also going through a similar experience.

I can't express my gratitude enough - I truly do appreciate everything you've done to help, whether it was being so responsive and patient with me during the application process, providing advice and support, or even being someone I know I can just simply fully trust and rely on for any help.

I was admitted!!!  I cannot thank you enough!!

Linda,

I’ll tell you the truth, I could not have done it without Rachel's guidance.

As an applicant with a low GPA, I knew applying to medical school would be challenging. Alicia was absolutely instrumental in my success of obtaining 9 MD interviews and admission to my top choice. Alicia is very knowledgeable of the entire medical school application process. She was able to answer all of my questions throughout the entire process. As a California resident, I was nervous about not being competitive enough for California schools and out of state schools. However, with her help, I received interview invitations to the University of Southern California, UC Riverside, University of Cincinnati, Oregon Health; Science University, University of Iowa, Rush University, Eastern Virginia Medical School, New York Medical College and Wayne State. I will be attending my top choice medical school! I am so grateful that I had Alicia’s support during this process.

When I was looking into applying to postbaccalaureate programs, I bought Alicia’s book on Amazon. It was very helpful and from there, I knew I wanted to work with her. I worked with Alicia from the beginning of the application process and she helped me every step of the way from offering encouragement and support during my MCAT studying to providing insightful feedback on my personal statement and mock interviews.

I specifically wanted to work with Alicia because she has worked with students with similar academic and personal backgrounds as myself. I graduated college with a low science GPA and spent a few years completing informal postbaccalaureate coursework. Alicia helped me feel confident when explaining my grades when asked about them. She also helped me focus on my positive qualities and experiences, instead of dwelling on my poor grades. I appreciate her empathetic and positive attitude during such a stressful process. She was very understanding and went above and beyond by providing strategies on how to overcome nervousness before my interviews. I also felt well prepared going into all of my interviews because of her helpful feedback after mock interviews.

I definitely recommend Alicia to anyone looking to have a successful application cycle. She has experience working with students from all backgrounds and she knows everything there is to know about the medical school application process. She is very efficient with editing and providing overall and specific feedback. I 10/10 recommend Alicia!

Simply put, Dr. Barry Rothman played an integral role in my getting accepted to medical school. It was only upon working with Dr. Rothman that I realized how disorganized and poorly formatted my application was. Dr. Rothman taught me how to better articulate and organize my thoughts and worked with me to help me find the right words so I could truly express what was in my head and in my heart.

Finally, I cannot doubt Dr. Rothman’s expertise. His knowledge regarding the entire medical school application process is astounding. He truly is well versed in helping his clients and catering his advice to specific applicants. For our mock interview, we prepared not only ‘general’ questions but also questions specific to my application to best prepare me regardless of what medical school admissions would throw at me.

Ultimately, I’m incredibly happy with the decision I made to work with Accepted.com and Dr. Barry Rothman specifically.

Thank you for your help with everything. I truly appreciate it.

Barry is the person you want in your corner when you are tackling the arduous task of applying to dental school. When I was looking for an advisor, I knew I wanted someone with the experience and track record of helping applicants like me achieve their goals of getting into their top programs. I was fortunate to find Barry when I did because his knowledge of dental school applications allowed me to not only apply one year ahead of schedule, but also receive an acceptance from my number one choice. Over the course of one year, Barry guided me through every step of the process from choosing which post-baccalaureate classes to take, to looking over my personal statement, to preparing me for the interview. I cannot recommend Barry’s services enough.

Barry was the advisor for me from day one. I had worked for over four years after graduating college before deciding I was going to pursue dentistry as a new career. Not knowing anything about how to begin, I was concerned that I would not have the knowledge to become a standout applicant. When I first met with Barry over the phone, I was most surprised by his positivity, eagerness to know my story, and patience as I navigated unfamiliar territory. Upon our first conversation, Barry had the ability to find my strengths as well as come up with a realistic plan of action for me to achieve my goals. I remember ending that conversation feeling like I had a shot at getting into dental school. Barry’s belief in me provided me with the confidence to put in the work and allow my dream to become a reality.

After carefully looking over my GPA and class history, Barry pinpointed the classes he thought I would need to prove to dental school admissions that I was a strong applicant who could handle a heavy graduate-level course load. Every quarter, I would show him my projected schedule and together we would go over whether the class was worth taking. Through his expertise as an advisor and a university professor, Barry’s guidance in selecting my classes ensured no time was wasted, I was saving money by only taking the necessary classes, and the level of difficulty was appropriate for me.

What could have been the most stressful part of the process ended up becoming my most triumphant all due to Barry’s help. After completing most of my post-baccalaureate classes, I was simultaneously studying for the DAT as well as working on my personal statement. I felt like I was juggling two critical aspects of my application in a short period of time. Barry put me at ease when he became an extra set of eyes for my personal statement by proofreading and giving me tips on how to improve. Any time I felt stuck or unsure about my writing skills, Barry was available to provide me with that extra boost of encouragement to continue revising until my message of why I wanted to become a dentist was clear. I was able to finish my written applications in a timely manner and take my DAT with assurance, knowing that I had given it my all and Barry was behind me to cheer me on.

Several months later, interviews started to roll in. The last step of my journey with Barry included mock interviews where we went over potential questions that could be asked. Although I felt confident with my interview skills, I was appreciative of the different strategies Barry shared with me to make the interview that much easier.

If you are considering an advisor for your dental school needs, look no further—Barry is the person you want.

Hello Mrs. Drummer,

I wanted to let you know that I was accepted to all three MPH programs I applied to, George Washington, Dartmouth, and Columbia! After much deliberation, I’ve decided to attend Columbia next year and I’m SO excited!!  Your guidance and advice were incredibly helpful. I appreciate all the time and effort you spent helping me research programs as well as brainstorm and edit my personal statements.  Thank you so much for everything, I sincerely appreciate all of your help!

Columbia does seem like an incredible opportunity. The more I research the more excited I am.

Esmeralda has been a key player in my admissions and provided sound advice for stepping into the professional world in general.

She offers great insight and bills to the minute while working efficiently. Big kudos to EC.

Hi Linda,

Thank you! It is so nice of you to reach out personally. All of your content on YouTube and podcasts have been so helpful for me on this journey.

I am so thrilled. I credit Esmeralda for this positive outcome [ Accepted to Duke and Georgetown MBA]. I could not have done it without her! Round 1 was a total bust for me. I underestimated the MBA process and did not know what I was doing. I am so grateful I was matched with Esmeralda for my R2 applications. I only wish I found Accepted earlier, then my outcome for R1 would have been different. :)

I guess this brings us to the end of our six-month (or longer?!) journey.

Thanks so much for all of your time and support - it has been really helpful. I keep thinking: no one from my family has ever traveled outside India, and here I've been admitted to the best education brand in the world. This wouldn't have been possible without your help. Thanks so much for that.

If this Covid-19 issues abates over the next few months, then I'd love to meet you for coffee sometime before I leave for Boston in late July. But if not, I wanted you to know that it was a pleasure working with you, and I am grateful for all your support. Once again, thank you.

Hi Karin,

Just got news that I’ve been admitted to Stanford MSME.
Even though we talked through this, omg this is still so hard for me to decide. Never had I thought that I would be choosing between these two beasts in engineering.
Soo.... basically you got me into Stanford, MIT and UC Berkeley. The top in the engineering business.

I am very happy with the service I was provided because It helped me enhance my application in a way that reflected my true passion and voice.

Philippe was very supportive and great at helping me organize my thoughts and inspiring me with ideas.

I would definitely recommend this service because I do not think I would have got my acceptance without accepted.com.

I am very grateful.

Hi Esmeralda!

I now feel that my application process has reached its end. I want to express my sincere and huge gratitude towards you and the job you have done for me. Looking back, I realize that there is no chance I would've had a shot at these top schools without your guidance. You always answered fast and thoughtfully, came with stringent feedback looking for potential loopholes and pushing me to become really good at conveying my story. If there is any website where you want me to rate you or give feedback, just let me know!

So I'm still waiting for Yale and SSE, but those are irrelevant. I also got denied from Stanford – which doesn't matter – because I'M GOING TO OXFORD!

You are amazing at what you do!

Virtual hugs

🤗

THANK YOU KARIN!

I may have told you a thousand times before like a broken record, but this is the occasion to say it: Thank you for believing in me. I had talked with a couple of consultants before coming across your name on Google, and they told me I'm being too ambitious.  Yet you gave me a target to achieve for the GRE, and then you took up the challenge. And then you helped me clarify WHY I am even pursuing higher education.

You signed up to be a consultant, yet you were much more than that: A counselor, motivator, and most importantly someone who taught me not to underestimate myself. I could not have done any of this without your help and guidance. Not only did you edit my essays, but you helped me develop my own story in the truest sense possible. You helped me secure admission to a place that I thought I could only dream of.

I have some very exciting news. I heard back from my first graduate school and have been accepted into the masters program at the University of Texas Austin! (picture this with about a million more exclamation points). I'm over the moon and feel so relieved now that I at least have somewhere to go next fall. You have played the biggest part in my applications and so THANK YOU a million times for all the drafts, edits and encouragement along the way. I can't say it enough. You've been a joy to work with and I've learned a lot through this process. I have so appreciated your positivity, helpfulness and dedication to my applications. There are not enough words. - I.S.

Good evening Carol!

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express my profound gratitude for the support that you have provided me with my application package. I would like to inform you that I have been admitted to the Doctor of Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-D) program in the Communication Sciences and Disorders Department (CSD) at Northwestern University beginning in June. I was also awarded a merit-based scholarship. I have accepted this phenomenal offer.

Thank you again for aiding in shaping my application for the SLP-D program. I wish you the very best!

Alicia has been wonderful and I am so glad that I decided to use Accepted services.

Hi Dr. Rothman,

I wanted to write and let you know how my medical school application cycle has gone since working with you last year. Out of 20 schools, I've received 7 interview invitations. I attended 6 of them. I have now received 4 acceptances, 1 waitlist, and am waiting to hear a deferred decision. My acceptances include the University of Colorado Denver, Washington State, University of Central Florida, and my number one choice, the University of Washington.

Thank you again for your help with my application. I am thrilled with my success and really looking forward to medical school!

It was a pleasure working with Accepted and Cindy. Appreciate all the support!

However it is going to turn out, I want to thank you for your priceless advice. When I went in for the interview it felt like I was doing it a second time. I was prepared, you told me what to prepare on and I did it and I was able to be calm and confident in my answers and honestly, I think I did a good job. Then you know... you never know how these things turn out... but thank you very much!

I’ve received my official offer from [PhD program at] UT Austin (my first choice) over the past week, with a very good financial package. Thank you so much for your help in everything!! I am still waiting for the other two, but I’m already very excited about my first offer.

I just wanted to let you know that I got accepted this week to CUNY, Rutgers, and Columbia (MPH)!!!

Thank you so much for your help and feedback on my essays!

I was lucky to have Dr. Barr by my side in my graduate school application. He helped me to see things I could not see myself, like how schools’ admission committees would think, like how my recommenders would think. Now I got accepted by my dream school, and all this would not become possible without Dr. Barr’s help. The applications felt less stressful since I knew I could call him and ask questions when I was confused. And Dr. Barr pointed me to the right path several times at crucial turning points along my way. Of course, it was also always fun to talk to him, and his encouragement cheered me up greatly in the long battle of the graduate school application.

Hi Dr. Gordon,

I got accepted to the University of Colorado!!!
I'm really, really excited, and a little bit nervous. But I just wanted to thank you so so much for your contribution to this application process. I truly could not have done it without your help. Again, thank you so much!

Cindy was great in helping me. Her experience came through with her advice.

Thank you so much for the warm congrats! [Accepted to MPH programs at the University of Michigan and UNC.] I could not have accomplished this without Dr. Barry and Accepted. I really enjoy working with you all. I will keep you updated on my progress.

Updated progress: While the outside world might be bringing us a mixture of positive and negative news, I do want to share with you something that is purely wonderful, and that is I got into the MPH program at Harvard!

Although we did not work on a personal statement together for Harvard, I don’t think I could have gotten in without your very encouraging video calls and emails at the beginning of the application season. By talking to you, I started to see that those positive qualities of mine are much more solid than what I have previously realized. For this, I feel very grateful and fortunate to have known you and been your student.

This time around, I chose not to waste any time on decision making. I think one of the major messages I learned from you, as well as from my own experience, is to follow my gut. I took your advice and reached out to several professors and students at various schools, and this helped me secure a good gut feeling. I could have spent more time weighing between MS and MPH, but the fit that I could sense between my career goals and Harvard’s program waived all hesitations.

Your support throughout this process was invaluable. Your advice and all that I took away from our sessions was incredibly helpful. I will certainly recommend you to my friends who will be applying to graduate school shortly.   Daisy

I'm looking forward to hitting the submit button and handing [this] over to the universe for a couple of months!

I would like to say thank you so much for your fantastic guidance throughout the writing process. Admittedly it can be quite mystifying at the start, especially since we didn't have to write a personal statement/statement of purpose for undergraduate in Australia. But I now feel a lot more confident in understanding what is required in the world of graduate admissions, and I've also learned some great tips for concise writing in general.

Adam W.

I wanted to send a note to say thank you for all of your support during this application process. I know that your vision, direction, and editing truly made all the difference in my applications.  Makiko H.

I could not have done it without Philippe’s help on my essays.

Dear Linda, I wouldn't have gotten where I'm at without Accepted. When I met Esmeralda over the phone, she inspired trust and I knew I wanted to work with her. She didn't stop astonishing me with her writing guidance and creativity, her advice, her remarkable professionalism, and, most surprisingly, her interactions with me on a more human level. Thank you for existing and having on your team people like Esmeralda.

Thank you so much for your assistance with my personal statement. I sincerely appreciate your time and effort, especially on such a short notice. I continue to be impressed with Accepted and their employees.    Sarah J

Dear Karin, Happy New Year! I wanted to let you know I was accepted to Johnson's MBA program and will be joining next fall. Thank you so much Karin for all your help and support with my application and most of all, giving me the confidence to apply.     Karin - if it wasn't for you I would have never even applied to Cornell. Words cannot express how grateful I am for your guidance.

It is a very exciting time!  Thank you so much for the note. I really appreciate all of your help, and obviously Rachel has been indispensable.

...Yes, I am very happy and excited for the upcoming new phase of my life!

Jennifer has been one true saviour in my whole bschool application journey. I think opting to work with her was the best decision I took during my application process. Don’t think converting Cornell would have been possible without Jennifer’s guidance. So, thanking Jennifer and the Accepted team once again. Really appreciate all the support I received over the past few months :)

Accepted.com was instrumental in my success.

I am really happy. Cindy was really helpful so I shared the news with her as soon as I found out.

Hi Linda,

Thank you! It's certainly a great way to start the holiday season. Jamie has been wonderful to work with and helped make the whole application process that much more manageable. It's hard to imagine how I could have stayed sane during this time without her! :)

Hi Ms. Todd,

I want to share that I recently learned that I was accepted to Harvard College under the early action program. My family and I are beyond excited! I thank you for your time in reviewing my essays and offering your input. I am convinced that your guidance made a huge difference and I am sincerely grateful. Thank you so much.

Hi Cindy,

I am extremely glad to let you know that I was admitted!! The director of the programme called me all of a sudden when I was at work and gave me the news. I am obviously over the moon. Your help had a lot to do with this so thanks a lot for all your support. When we spoke about one year ago and you told me two of your guys had been admitted I thought wow, would not it be great to be one of those at some point? I am now :) Thanks a lot!

Hi Jamie,

I got in to Oxford!!!!!  I'm still in shock. I've been so anxious and only managed to sleep 4 hours last night. I'm beyond the moon.

I was very excited to hear the news and am thrilled to have the opportunity. No doubt, Rachel's editing and counsel was instrumental, and I could not be more pleased.

I began working with Dr. Rothman through Accepted after two unsuccessful attempts at applying to M.D. schools. I had little hope or confidence, but after working with Dr. Rothman I saw a dramatic change in how medical schools were viewing my application; I even landed an interview at a school I thought was huge stretch! Most importantly, Dr. Rothman became more than just a personal statement advisor in a formal manner, but rather, became a mentor for my whole application as well as in handling the stress of interviews and bad news. He really enjoys getting to know students and took the time to go over much of my life story to find inspiration for personal statements and essays. Using his feedback in crafting my essays and my interview responses, Dr. Rothman became an essential part of maturing my application and myself this cycle. I would highly recommend Dr. Rothman as an application advisor from Accepted.  - Chris

I want to start by giving an overall review of Carol. She was instrumental in my PA schools applications. She went so far above and beyond to provide me with support during both of my application processes. I hired Carol to edit my essays, but she did so much more than that. She called the programs to which I was applying to obtain more information and save me from seeming like an annoyance to them, she had several lengthy phone conversations with me to discuss my progress, and she made me feel like I was her only client when I know she had many others. On top of that, Carol is hilarious and I loved conversing with her. I did not get accepted to PA after applying for the first time, but that was due to my low GPA, not because of my application. After this cycle of rejection, Carol spent an extensive amount of time coaching me on what I could improve upon, for which I am forever grateful. She taught me so many tips and tricks about the application process that I never would have known had I not sought Accepted's help. Carol enlightened me about so many nuances of my application and of the application process as a whole. Because of Carol's guidance, I was truly proud of the applications I submitted.

On a macro level, Carol's editing is superb. Her cogent advice and her extensive knowledge of the healthcare (med, PA, nursing school) admissions processes lent themselves greatly to my essays. She knew what aspects of my background I should highlight and taught me how to paint a positive light on the less-than-stellar aspects of my application. I would rate her a 10/10. On a micro level, her editing helped me immensely. My writing has a tendency to be verbose and unclear, and Carol helped me to be more concise and to the point. When it comes to cutting down the character count of an essay she is a wizard! Her micro editing was also a 10/10.

The service I have received from Accepted has been exceptional. I would rate it a 10/10 for sure! There were only a few times when Carol was not able to keep to the 2 day turn around commitment, but in those instances she would always communicate with me and let me know when she expected to have it completed.

Carol's ability to give constructive criticism is quite possibly her strongest attribute. She was able to tell me exactly what was wrong without sugar-coating it and I greatly appreciated that. She is direct, yet still polite and considerate, not to mention she has a great sense of humor! She provided support, made her self available for questions or concerns at nearly all hours of the day and evening, and never stopped giving words of encouragement.

The only aspect of Carol/Accepted's service that has room for improvement would be the 2 day turnaround. Carol almost always abided by the 2 day turnaround, but there were a handful of times when it took longer.

On a scale of 0-10 I would absolutely rate Accepted a 10. I have and will continue to recommend Accepted and Carol to people.

- Later Accepted to PA programs at Rosalind Franklin and Nova Southeastern University

Jennifer has been a wonderful guiding light in this journey, and this wouldn't have been possible without her. I'd definitely strongly recommend her to all of my friends who'd be applying in the future.

Jen is an excellent advisor! I’m lucky to have found her.

I wanted to share some good news - I got accepted to Rice University with a full scholarship!!! I know I could not have gotten to this point or received this blessing without your guidance and encouragement. THANK YOU SO INCREDIBLY MUCH!! I am beyond grateful.

Barry has been instrumental in guiding me towards my acceptance [to UCLA Dental School]. I'm very appreciative of Barry and the Accepted team!

Jennifer's help and the Accepted framework were both top-notch. I will be recommending to others in the future.

Esmeralda,

I can't thank you enough for being so responsive and on top of everything despite the time crunch!! You have been amazing throughout this whole process and I really appreciate everything you've done to help.

- Emily

Rachel is an incredible consultant, and without her I would not have been successful in my applications to top schools. She has an unbelievable instinct on when and how to rephrase parts of an essay or data form, and she knows how to work with you to articulate the best version of yourself for the AdComm. I was impressed by how quickly she was able to understand me on a personal level and infuse that understanding in her feedback on my work. Every time I sent her materials, I knew they would come back completely enhanced. Rachel is always timely with her responses, even under tight deadlines. She truly cared about me and my success, and it showed through her work. I have already recommended her to other people applying for all graduate programs. I envy those who are fortunate enough to work with her now.

Hi Esmeralda,

I felt that my TBD went well!

Thank you for running such a great practice session, I felt much more comfortable in the real thing than I think I would have otherwise. I will definitely keep you posted with what I hear from Wharton in a month!

John

I entered a late admissions process, was up against a tight deadline, and [Cydney Foote] picked up my need and ran with it. Not only did she help me meet my deadline, but she did so with panache. Her assistance in giving shape and beauty to my story made me a strong candidate, for which I am very grateful.

Cydney’s editing was concise and accurate. Her ability to rephrase and reorganize words made them more effective and impactful, making my paper a strong statement that contributed toward my admission process. .

I think you (Accepted) and Cydney are fantastic. I have dealt with several services during these last few months (writing a new resume, then gearing up for application to a medical school) and Cydney is by far the best I have found since 2009.

Cydney is a 10/10 in her professionalism and expertise on the subject matter. Her communication was without reproach. I would recommend her to anyone needing a reliable, intelligent, pragmatic, and straightforward individual for assignment completion..

Barry helped me tremendously with my interviews for dental school. I was very nervous about it going in, but with multiple video calls, Barry coached me through different questions and gave me great advice. He is very kind, patient, and has a lot of experience with this, so I felt I was in good hands. I would not have been able to have such a successful interview without him!

Hello Dr. Suzi,   In summary, my cycle was very good with 25 primary applications, 25 secondary applications, 7 interviews, and 5 acceptances [and 1 partial scholarship], a 100% post-interview acceptance rate, thanks to you!    I look forward to sending you pictures of my white coat ceremony.

Could not have done it ( acceptance to LBS MiF program ) without Esmeralda.

She helped through every detail of the process and beyond.

Dr. Barry Rothman was a terrific guide and mentor throughout my postbac application process. He pushed me to dig deeper and be more vulnerable with my personal statements, resulting in a much more compelling set of essays. After spending some time working on his writing prompts — some standard, some tailored to my specific scenario — we had a brief discussion to identify the most engaging parts of my story, and I was off to write. I found the process both enjoyable and challenging (but never overwhelming!), and Dr. Rothman was a great cheerleader and ally. By the time I was done with the process, I had a much better understanding of why I wanted to be a doctor in the first place and was able to articulate that motivation during my interviews.

It is a considerable expense to hire a coach to help through the application process, and in this case I found it was well worth it. My work with Dr. Rothman provided peace of mind that I was presenting my most authentic self as well as an extra degree of polish that made my application stand out. I recommend him!

Alicia was fantastic to work with over the past year. She provided insightful connections with my past experiences to help me craft the perfect personal statement and application guiding me through the whole process. Now a year later [Oct. 15] I have gained acceptance to medical school and could not be more excited. Thank you!

Best,
Kayla

Before I met Jen, I was very worried about my chances at a top MBA. After contacting Accepted, Jen reached out to me within one business day and was extremely courteous and helpful with how to deal with my concerns as well as ways to mitigate/address them in the MBA application. More importantly, she really took the time to to understand my situation as well making sure that I have the right approach to addressing these concerns I had. She is not only knowledgeable and experienced, but very personable and friendly as well. I will certainly stay in touch with her, and I have no doubt that she will continue to provide an excellent consultation service to her clients. I highly recommend anyone who has questions regarding MBA admissions to reach out to her.

Hello Lolita,

I got accepted to Temple with a XXXX scholarship! I've just submitted my deposit and will be attending there starting next Fall. I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything that you've done and the invaluable guidance that you've provided! I honestly couldn't have gotten an acceptance without your help. Thank you so much again and I will keep you posted as to how things go in the future! Please let me know when you are free to talk this week, I just want to call and thank you personally. (Received Sept. 26)

It was an honor working with Alicia! I worked with Alicia from the very beginning of the application process and she helped with every aspect of it.  After discussing my strengths and weaknesses, Alicia realized what the best strategy was for me.    She helped me write an extremely strong personal statement, which highlighted all of my strengths.   She brought to light so many strengths I should emphasize that I didn't even realize I had.  She had a unique perspective and approach that I couldn't have come up with on my own! I completely threw out my previous personal statement and created a new one because Alicia knew all of the right questions to ask!

Alicia helped me to polish my experiences and activities.   She also helped me to perfect my interview skills!   She gave me consistent and timely feedback.   I always felt like Alicia was genuinely concerned with helping guide me throughout the entire application process, interview, and eventual ACCEPTANCE!   I highly recommend Alicia.

Dear Jennifer,
I have submitted my Booth application and I just wanted to thank you for all your help and support. Irrespective of the outcome, I am extremely pleased with the application that I have submitted and I really want to thank you for changing my perspective on writing applications, essays, resume etc. I am sure this will help me in my career as well. Thank you so very much for your patience! You have been extremely fun to work with. :)

Hello Barry,

I have another interview scheduled for School Y in October!

I just telling you this so I can say THANK YOU!!!!!!!! :D

It is the night before my School X Interview and I feel less stressed out knowing that I have another interview scheduled so soon.

So, thank you! You have been a phenomenal help!

Thank you once again.

-- A Primary + Secondary Package client.

The outcome (Acceptance to LBS Sloan Fellows) is indeed very positive and I'm glad all the work put in have paid dividends.

Thank you sincerely to Accepted for the assistance.  My time working with Jamie has been more than wonderful and the final product would most definitely not been of such high quality and as focused without her assistance.  I thoroughly enjoyed working with Jamie on a 'personal' level, and found her guidance and professionalism to be top-class.  I also found her to be highly efficient and organised, and I am most grateful for her patience with me and my very busy schedule as during our workings I was often guilty of not sticking to set deadlines.  Importantly I must add that her experience and guidance was instrumental in ensuring the one-page resume is highly focused, action orientated and contained the most relevant elements - this was not an easy task given that my professional experience consists of a number of roles and my academic background is also not a one or two liner.

Thank you also for the wonderful (business school related) resources that Accepted creates - I've been receiving and reading most of the newsletters for quite a while and have joined a webinar or two that you have hosted in the past.

I can't think of anything that would make the experience even better. I liked that ... Esmeralda was really efficient with her time. She also gave me additional information on other business analytics programs for me to consider, which was helpful and generous of her. I would definitely work with her again!

Dear Ms. Abraham,  Hope this email finds you well.

I'd like to inform you that I am very satisfied with Michelle's work.
She helped me write an excellent application essay (MBA), and the process was very smooth and efficient.

A friend that got accepted to Columbia Business School two years ago recommended that I work with Michelle, and I'm glad I did.

Dear Jennifer,  I just got admitted into CBS' class of 2022!   Thank you for all the help on the essay.  Your inputs and edits were invaluable and I certainly would not have got in a version anywhere close to the one we submitted.   Thanks again! :)

I applied to one school last year and was so happy with your services! I did get in and just finished my first year at Loyola law in Los Angeles.   I was so very pleased with the responsiveness and guidance I received from Accepted!

I am at a loss for words when I think of how I might describe how much of an impact Karin Ash has had on my being admitted to my dream program, Cornell University's MEng in Computer Science. With my undergraduate degree in a social science from a public state school, the odds of my getting into Cornell's CS MEng program (ranked 6th in the country) were very low. Thanks to Karin's amazing consulting, I was able to submit 2 very strong applications to Cornell's main campus MEng program and Cornell's NYC campus (Cornell Tech) MEng program and I was ultimately admitted to both!

I will note that, for the application season, I did an exhaustive consultant search, considering over a dozen firms and at least 50 consultants, with the intention of hiring the best of the best. I ended up hiring two different consultants from two different firms (in order to benefit from both of their perspectives). Both consultants (including Karin) were highly experienced (having adcom experience from top schools) and from top consulting firms. This testimony will highlight the areas in which Karin has outperformed in comparison to the other consultant.

Among the many enormous benefits that I have gained from Karin, perhaps the most valuable has been her ability to connect with me, understand my unique experiences/challenges, and help me best frame my story of both overcoming adversity and discovering my passion for computer science. Her admissions committee experience at Cornell gives her an authoritative ability and vision into how to craft an essay that inspires the reader to recognize my intellectual potential at their school, addresses any/all concerns the reader could have, and hits home on every point that an admissions officer from a top program may look for in the essay.

Beyond her exceptional essay advising and editing skills, Karin has vastly exceeded all of my expectations in her ability to provide expert advice including choosing which schools to apply to, how to tailor my application to each program, how to approach my faculty recommenders, how to best reach out to and communicate with Cornell's admissions staff, and how to make the (very difficult decision) of which of my admission offers to accept. For several particularly challenging decisions (including how my fit was for both Cornell programs, and how certain sensitive topics should be addressed in my essay), Karin had--on at least three occasions--gone out of her way to reach out to several of her other distinguished colleagues at Accepted AND reach out to several of her high-ranking contacts at Cornell (including the Director of Admissions at the Cornell's engineering college and the Associate Dean of Cornell Tech) to get me the most comprehensive and well-informed advice possible.

Lastly, I will highlight the general experience I feel that I have had in working with Karin. I purchased two different packages from her, for my applications to both of the Cornell programs. If you are serious about your graduate school applications, ordering one or more package from Karin is an absolute must because Karin fully leverages the freedom granted by the package option to put in as much time as she determines is needed to help me produce the best possible application, no matter how many revisions or emails or calls it takes. Between both packages, I have had 7 calls with her (totaling 4.1 hours), I have received at least 22 essay revisions from her.and we have exchanged hundreds of emails (176 from her). Although the package rate promises a 2-business day turnaround, it has almost always been the case that I would receive her essay revisions the same day within hours (or first thing in the morning at around 7AM). Karin has also, very generously, made herself available during evenings and weekends to accommodate my schedule.

In the realm of graduate admissions consulting, Karin is surely among the most qualified, insightful, motivated, creative, and resourceful that I could ever have hired. She has done everything in her power to help me produce the best applications possible, and I am forever beyond grateful to have been admitted to my dream school, which could not have happened without Karin!

Christine Carr has been an invaluable asset when I applied to law school this year. While I was preparing my application, I was also studying for the LSAT and teaching part-time. Without Christine’s help, I would never have been able to complete my personal statement and resume efficiently. Furthermore she advised me so that my application stood out in a positive way.
Right from the beginning, I felt calm that Christine would be able to help me create a great application. Her experience as the director of admissions at Boston University Law is evident in all the advice and fabulous work she has done for me. Christine was always available to talk with me even if it wasn’t about the law school application process, for example to calm me down when I was waitlisted at my top choice. At that time, she also guided me in getting accepted from the waitlist.
As professional as Christine is, she helped like a close friend, and I will be forever grateful for all that she has done for me.

Jennifer Bloom is very sharp and offered critical input to improve my essay & interview. Her input introduced me to new ideas and new angles to present my points that I hadn't thought of. This helped me get offers from CMU & Cornell. I would highly recommend Jennifer to anyone who wants to power-boost their essay & interview.

Dear Esme,  I hope everything is going well with you! I just wanted to check in and thank you again for your hard work and help for my grad school application. Again, your support through this process definitely means a lot to me and I couldn't have done it without you. Thank you also to all the advice that you've given. :) Also wanted to let you know that I decided to attend NYU (which I think you probably already know but just in case). It is definitely one of my top choices and with your help, I was accepted! :)

Thank you so much again for your patience and I wish you all the best for your future endeavors.

Dr. Barry Rothman was a fantastic ally in helping me develop a strategy towards medical school and throughout the post-bac application process. With his incredible background as both a Biology Professor, Health Professions Advisor and a founder of a highly respected post-bac program, Dr. Rothman has the experience to draw upon in advising students.
I initially sought out Dr. Rothman’s guidance to gain an overview of the different paths towards medical school, since I had already completed my pre-med requirements at Dartmouth College. Over the course of writing several essays for post-bac programs, Dr. Rothman pushed me to really dig deep on my answers, and challenged me to identify more compelling parts of my story. Dr. Rothman’s consistent and timely feedback helped me draw out my unique experiences, and highlight the most important parts of my story. Dr. Rothman knew how to give constructive feedback in a supportive manner, and his strategic advice gave me confidence throughout the application process.

Most importantly, I felt that Dr. Rothman was extremely thoughtful and invested in my short- and long-term goals. I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked with Dr. Rothman, and I am confident that other students who have his support and advice will feel the same.   -  Christine

Hi Jamie!

I wanted to let you know that I got admitted to INSEAD! Thank you for all your help and support throughout this journey, I truly appreciate it! It was really great working with you!

Thank you sooo much Esmeralda! It was really just like yesterday. I really appreciate all your help throughout my application and thank you for making such a great experience of GSB possible for me! <3

It [Acceptance to NYU's MS in Management and System program]  was all thanks to Esmeralda's help and Accepted's great services. I couldn't have done it otherwise.

I have been accepted to Loyola's MAMS program! I wanted to thank you for all of your help with my application. I greatly appreciate the effort and dedication you put forth in helping with this process. Once again, thank you for your help.

Lolita was very honest in what she would be able to offer me and was able to help me in a very short period of time.

Dear Linda,

Thanks a lot for the wishes. It (Acceptance to Wharton and Kellogg) would not have been possible without Michelle and the broader Accepted team.

I am writing to tell you that the University of Chicago offered me admission to the Master of Arts Program in the Social Sciences!!!

I could never made it without you! This program is very competitive and the students they accept are normally from a better university than mine.

Thank you again for your biggest support and help with my application!! I am really appreciative!

[Sent the next day]

I wrote to you 3 minutes after I received the email from UChicago, and then when I looked carefully through the admission package, I found that they offered me a scholarship! unbelievable.

Thank you so much for your help, really... look forward to seeing you maybe some day in California 😌😌

Thank you so much for reaching out and yes, I am thrilled to start my new life at Booth!

I wouldn’t have achieved this without the help from Karin and Accepted. All the very best to you and to Accepted :)
Esmeralda was exceptionally helpful during the application process and I would like to thank Accepted for my admission! Super excited to start my masters degree [in data science] at Brown later this September!!
Thank you so much for all your time and effort with my Business Analytics programs application, and I was honored to have you as my grad school application consultant.
Karin (Dr. Ash) was my advisor for my Ph.D. application. We have been working on my case for over 6 months and she has been very helpful! She guided me through all the important procedures during the application process including timeline planning, school selections, communication with schools and professors, personal statement advice and editing and more. With her knowledge, experiences and expertise, I was able to build up a great application profile and I have learned so much as well! As a result, I was admitted into a Ph.D. program at UIUC and will be working with a great research team from this fall. I really can't do this without Karin! I would highly recommend Karin as an application advisor!
I do not believe my acceptance would have been possible without your services, and for that, I am grateful.
I was an international applicant applying for the third time, and I was starting to believe that medicine may end as just a dream for me. As I worked with Cindy, I learned how to create a more compelling narrative of why I wanted to pursue medicine, and how I’ve grown throughout this journey. She was a caring and highly skilled editor who was a pleasure to work with. I got my acceptance to Georgetown University School of Medicine today! I could not be happier. Thank you Cindy!!
Just wanted to thank you again for all your help during the Residency process. I ended up matching into the Internal Medicine Program. I had a total of 17 IM interviews, and even got a prematch offer. Going into the process I didn’t think I was going to get more than one interview so I was pleasantly shocked how the process turned out. A lot of the programs that I interviewed with, including my prematch offer, did bring up my personal statement favorably. They appreciated the honesty in talking about my failure straight up and perseverance to push through it. In the end the vast majority saw my personal statement as a huge net positive and was big reason I was able to get so many interviews despite my subpar stats. Thank you again for everything.
I worked with Philippe Barr on my application to Harvard University and I got accepted in the Master in Public Administration. Philippe was extremely helpful in providing relevant comments on all aspects of the application including statement of purpose, essays, resume. He provided me with proper guidance and valuable feedback in a timely manner. He was punctual, dependable, easy to work with and very friendly. I also appreciated the constructive criticism, valuable advice, and honesty in his approach. It was a wonderful experience working with Philippe, it paid off and I couldn’t be happier. Thanks Philippe for your guidance and professionalism throughout this process.

I just submitted my application ... and feel so much better knowing you were in my corner. The edits and feedback were great.

You are a rockstar!   - Charles

I was accepted into LSE which was my second choice.
Very pleased with the outcome. Thank you for all your suggestions and insight.
Dr. Barry Rothman served as an incredible line of help throughout the entire process of applying for PhD programs in Biomedical Engineering.  He has a very solid fundamental understanding of the application process as a whole and is also highly capable of answering more specific questions that arise throughout the course of the applications.  Specifically, Dr. Rothman was critical in helping me choose the best schools for myself given my academic standing and career goals, helping to formulate essay frameworks and to select good topics, grammar and flow editing of essays, deciding how to respond to specific questions that individual schools ask on their applications, and interview prep.  His help enabled me to remain low-stress during these applications, as he was always an email or phone call away to answer any and all of my pressing questions.  With his help I was accepted into Johns Hopkins University, the University of San Diego, Boston University, and the University of California, Irvine.
